A local girl living with autism learned at a young age that she has a talent to communicate through art. And now that artwork is taking the form of books, which she hopes will inspire others.Kristin Maggio, a 9-year-old from Akron who lives in the Clarence School District, was nonverbal until she was 4 years old. She was diagnosed with apraxia, a motor speech disorder that leads to problems saying sounds, syllables and words.
